About IRIS 2026
International Rig IQ Showdown (IRIS) 2026 is a competition designed to show expertise in drilling and well completion specialists. Participants will engage in a series of rigorous tests covering advanced techniques, innovations, and operational challenges, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice.
Students collaborate in teams to solve challenging problems, enhancing critical thinking, communication, and technical skills. Expert judges provide feedback, guiding participants to refine their understanding and approach.
Beyond assessments, the event fosters a collaborative environment where students can network with industry professionals, ask questions, and explore career opportunities while gaining insights into emerging trends and challenges shaping the drilling and completions sector.
